The Sora of Nihongo has been providing high quality Japanese language education in online classes for over 20 years. This online class addresses the idea that every student has great potential. This can be developed through a positive and motivational environment, consistent Japanese practice and first-class Japanese instruction. Our school offers a well-thought-out, well-thought-out curriculum, experienced teachers, and a fun and educational atmosphere.
In-person classes in Tokyo private extracurricular lessons such as sign language, cooking, table tennis, badminton, mountaineering and cycling. Many students supplement their personal social activity language with Japanese drum music classes, dance, and animal therapy. With offices in Mitaka City and Okutama, we work with experts from different industries.

The Sora of Nihongo offers Japanese lessons to students of all ages and abilities. Beginner students will start with fundamentals such as reading books, simple conversation , and progressing from vocalization of the Japanese syllabary . We balance Japanese-style and fun by making sure that during each lesson you are challenged with a new technical or theory concept while always making time to work on your favorite piece of Japanese culture. Experienced students will work with Takako to further develop their technique and repertoire. Want to work on your current favorite Japanese? No problem, Takako is well-versed and teach multiple genres from daily conversation to business conversation and everything in between.

Takako program for young students
Our Japanese Takako program is dedicated to teaching The Sora Japanese students as young as 3. Developed by the Japanese Teacher Takako Sonoda, the Takako method teaches Japanese by ear before reading notes on Japanese so teachers can focus on setting up each student with correct posture and technique to ensure the student’s continued success. Parental involvement is required for students under the age of 8 and before the child starts, parents are required to attend a private 3-week parent education class.

What is a good age to start lessons?

Some students start Japanese classes from three to seventy years old. This is highly dependent on the maturity of the child. It also depends on whether it fits perfectly with one of the teachers, as not all students accept students of that age. All of our teachers accept students over the age of five.

What methods do you use?

Many of our teachers have prepared students for personal interest, Business occupation and other adjudications, which are great markers for growth, and help keep Japanese language students focused.
